Anfield Manor is a comfortable arrangement of two Georgian villas situated on the hill above Douglas. It is just a short walk or drive from the centre of town and offers glorious views over Douglas Bay.
We have room for a maximum of 31 residents in private rooms of various sizes, with en-suite facilities. Two of the larger bedrooms officially qualify as double bedrooms so we can accommodate couples who wish to share. As a privately run home we can and do offer the personal touch, Care staff are on hand 24 hours a day, and you can talk directly to the Manager or the Owner. At Anfield Manor independence and individuality are respected while the safety and comfort of residents are the prime considerations of everyone working here.

Enjoy life in comfort
There are 29 bedrooms; all are centrally heated, double glazed, have TV points with Satellite sockets and are equipped with a call button, so help is at hand if needed. Bedrooms are well-decorated and comfortably furnished, however, residents are welcome to organise redecoration to suit their preferences and to install their own favourite furniture. Individual, personal touches such as photographs and pictures are especially welcomed.
Bedrooms have facilities (lavatory and hand basin) ‘en-suite’, some have baths too. There are three communal bathrooms equipped with hoists for those who require assistance in bathing, and a specially adapted ‘walk-in’ shower room; as well as numerous lavatories around the house.

Entertain your friends and relatives
Three large lounges on the ground floor offer bright, airy space to mix with other residents or to entertain friends and family. One is a spacious TV lounge, another, a cosy ‘quiet’ space and we also have a large designated smoking lounge. All lounges have splendid views over our extensive terrace and gardens to Douglas Bay.
Residents are invited to dine together in the large dining room on the garden floor, catered for by a full-time chef and support staff. However if you prefer to dine in the privacy of your room this is easily arranged. There are entrance ramps and a passenger lift to all floors make getting around a little easier.

Recreation and socialising
A variety of social events are usually on offer, including film afternoons, craft days, visiting entertainers and even musical bingo and singalongs. Birthdays merit a special celebration and visitors are warmly welcome to all our major events, which include Easter, a Summer Party, Christmas Fayre and various parties throughout the year.
Enjoy a seat in the sun
Everyone who enjoys the great outdoors will love the large garden at the back of the house. The upper terrace provides a relaxing, peaceful place to sit and enjoy fine weather, overlooking the main lawn and flower beds. Beyond there are fine views to Onchan and Douglas over the bay.

Anfield Manor has a unique friendly atmosphere, which can only be appreciated by a visit. Prospective residents and relatives are always welcome, so do please come and take a look around; just phone first to set a time and the Anfield Manor staff will even lay on tea and cakes. Residential admissions are offered on a four-week trial basis and subject to a full assessment of individual needs.
